We would like to invite you to take an active part in the International Scientific Conference,

“Psychology in dialogue- between theory and practice,

 

which will take place on 23–24 April 2026 at the Podlasie Academy in Białystok.

 

 

In times of growing polarisation, disinformation and intense technological change, dialogue is becoming an essential foundation for interpersonal relationships, society and culture.

The conference provides a space for dialogue between theoretical reflection and practical experience, with the aim of deepening the exchange between psychology and other fields of science and social life.

The conference is interdisciplinary in nature. The aim of the event is to exchange ideas, views and experiences of Polish and foreign researchers and practitioners from various scientific disciplines on the role of psychology in the modern world and to reflect on the directions of cooperation between specialists from various fields on the use of psychological knowledge in practice.

 

The conference programme includes plenary sessions with invited guests and panel sessions with the active participation of APwB lecturers.

 

Proposed topics:

• Psychology in dialogue with culture, education and spirituality – psychology in the context of upbringing, social communication, religion and art.
• Psychology in dialogue with society, health and safety – psychology applied to the challenges of the modern world: in social structures, institutions, the economy and sport.

 

We encourage the preparation of scientific presentations within the following framework:

 

Theoretical Session: Psychology: Foundations and Theoretical Perspectives (23 April 2026)

Practical Session and Thematic Panels: Psychology in Practice (24 April 2026).

 

Abstract submission requirements:

– Abstract – max. 250 words

– 3 keywords related to the proposed presentation

• Presentation time: 20 minutes

The conference fee is PLN 300, which covers the cost of conference materials, lunches, and a gala dinner. APwB does not provide accommodation, but will provide addresses of nearby hotels in a later communication.

Information on the payment deadline and other organisational matters will be sent by 15 March 2026 with the notification of acceptance of the paper.
