International Scientific Conference:

‘Psychology in dialogue – between theory and practice’

In times of growing polarization, disinformation and rapid technological change, dialogue is becoming an essential foundation for interpersonal relationships, society and culture.

The goal of the interdisciplinary conference is to articulate, compare and exchange ideas, views and experiences of Polish and foreign researchers and practitioners from various scientific disciplines on the role of psychology in the modern world.  We hope to reflect on the directions of development of cooperation between specialists from various fields aimed at applying psychological knowledge in practice.

The conference programme includes plenary sessions with invited guests and panel sessions with the active participation of APwB lecturers.

Proposed topics:

  • Psychology in dialogue with culture, education and spirituality – psychology in the context of upbringing, social communication, religion and art.
  • Psychology in dialogue with society, health and safety – psychology applied to the challenges of the modern world: in social structures, institutions, the economy and sport.

The conference will be held at the Podlasie Academy of Applied Sciences in Białystok on 23-24 April 2026.
