The teacher training programme complies with the teacher training standard.

Objectives:

The aim of the course is to complement the knowledge of university graduates with the pedagogical qualifications required to work in a school/educational institution. The course provides the pedagogical qualifications necessary to work in schools and educational institutions.

• Diagnosis and pedagogical therapy – 3 semesters

– addressed to school counselors, teachers and educators, employees of educational centres, care and educational centres, psychological and pedagogical counselling centres, as well as people conducting corrective and compensatory classes in schools and educational institutions, psychological and pedagogical counselling centres, therapeutic centres and alternative care centres.

They prepare students for work as remedial teachers in kindergartens, schools, psychological and pedagogical counselling centres, therapeutic day-care centres and educational care centres, as well as all educational institutions that support parents.

The programme is open to university graduates (first or second-cycle or long-cycle studies) with pedagogical training.

Objectives:

The aim of the course is to acquire the psychological and pedagogical knowledge and skills necessary to carry out a functional diagnosis and construct a multi-specialist assessment of the student’s level of functioning (WOPFU) and individual educational and therapeutic programmes (IPET); to work diagnostically and therapeutically with children and young people (with particular emphasis on special educational needs, learning difficulties) and the skills needed to undertake effective educational, revalidation and therapeutic activities.

• Early support of child development – 3 semesters

– addressed to teachers, educators, psychologists, therapists, speech therapists and other specialists working with young children with disabilities or at risk of disability.

They prepare students for work in nurseries/children’s clubs, kindergartens (including integrative ones), psychological and pedagogical counselling centres, early childhood development support teams, coordination, rehabilitation and care centres, early intervention centres and non-public institutions and organisations supporting early childhood development.

The programme is open to university graduates (first or second-cycle, long-cycle studies with pedagogical training.

Objectives:

The main objective is to prepare participants for professional work with young children with disabilities and their families; to prepare highly qualified staff for early support of child development and early therapeutic intervention in kindergartens, facilities, foundations and associations implementing tasks within the framework of the Integrated Early Childhood Education and Care System (WWRD) and psychological and pedagogical counselling centres.

• Crisis management and civil protection – 2 semesters

– addressed to uniformed services;

– a proposal for managers of public administration, local government, municipalities, counties, provinces and all those interested in internal security in an emergency.

Objectives:

The main objective is to prepare specialists to perform tasks related to civil protection, civil defence and crisis management in the public sectors.

• Psychogeriatrics – 2 semesters NEW OFFER FOR PSYCHOLOGISTS

– addressed to graduates of psychology;

– prepares for work in hospitals and rehabilitation centres in geriatric wards.

Objectives:

The main objective is to prepare specialists to solve typical health, psychological and social problems of people in later adulthood (mental disorders, most common diseases, medical problems) and to perform neuropsychological diagnosis, rehabilitation and therapy of the elderly.

• Negotiations and judicial mediation – 2 semesters

– addressed to university graduates (in the fields of law, psychology, pedagogy, sociology, social rehabilitation, economics and management)

The course meets the standard requirements of the Ministry of Justice for entry on the list of court mediators, as well as other formal requirements for those who wish to acquire or develop their skills in constructive conflict resolution through negotiation, as well as conducting public consultations on important issues or making controversial decisions (facilitation).

Objectives:

Preparing students to resolve conflicts as negotiators and mediators in the workplace, in local, family and social environments in the fields of civil, criminal and commercial law.
